At Florence Baptist Church, we believe in “The Power of 10”, the first 10% (the tithe) of all we earn belongs to the LORD. We also believe in bringing HIS tithe and our gifts into the storehouse (the local church). This “bringing” is an integral part of our worship experience.

The Bible also teaches that the borrower is a slave to the lender. Today’s marketplace offers many “deals” that look good initially but leave us with debt that is not manageable. Such a situation causes us to get our priorities “out of order”. Instead of giving the LORD the first 10%, we give what is left after the bills have been paid.

While we try to keep our message plain, straight and strong, we also strive to make use of technology and the related tools. One such tool is the Internet. Many of us have made the use of internet services part of our daily routine, especially in the business world. We seek to embrace the use of this tool and others while not compromising our beliefs.

With this principle in mind, Florence Baptist Church is offering the opportunity for you to financially support the LORD’s work at F B C through the use of on-line giving. Three vehicles are currently available. You can use a VISA, MasterCard or an electronic check (ACH). While these cards can be debit or credit, we would remind you that the credit card option is designed for those who pay their balances off each month in order to avoid incurring interest charges.
