HOPE Ministries

 

HOPE Ministries of Northern Kentucky, Inc. is a non-profit charitable corporation, founded in 1994 by Florence Baptist Church as   an outreach to the community. Our mission is to share the Hope of Jesus in our community.

HOPE Ministries is volunteer-driven. Thirty to forty volunteers work weekly sorting clothes, packing food baskets, placing household items on display for clients, maintaining records and helping clients shop for needed items for their families. Every item is labeled "Given in Jesus' Name." All donated items are given to the needy in the Northern Kentucky area.

Major events are held each year including two FREE Clothing Giveaways, a Christmas Party for children and families and a Toy Giveaway.

Opportunities to serve:

WMU-Women on Mission
WMU meets monthly and study about missions, pray for missionaries and plan mission projects. For more information contact Jackie Shelton at 371-7141.

Mission Projects:
Groups work on mission projects for the Baptist Village, Women's Crisis Center, Turfway Race Track and HOPE Ministries.
